Breakfast is the most important daily meal, as it provides the needed nutrients for the following day.
Yet you should always choose the proper ingredients carefully in order to give you the right kick off the day. Below there is a list of foods which should or shouldn’t be consumed on an empty stomach:
EAT:
1.Eggs
Eggs are excellent choice of breakfast because they contain alot of protein and nutrients which boosts metabolism hence providing high energy levels.
2.Oatmeal
Oatmeal is a great beginning of a day because they prevent damage or irritation of the stomach due to hydrofluoric acid and also it is rich in soluble fibres which boosts metabolism and reduces cholesterol levels.
3.Honey
Starting your day with honey boosts your energy and improve mood because it supports the production of serotonin and it makes you more focused and productive during the day.
4.Nuts
Consumption of nuts for breakfast regulates pH levels in the stomach and also plays a great role in digestion.
5.Blueberries
Blueberries are important choice to start a day with because they are rich in nutrients and regulate blood pressure, boost metabolism, and improve memory, concentration, and also focus.
DONT EAT:
1.Citrus Fruits
Citrus fruits such as lemons, Grapefruits and also Oranges are not the best choice for breakfast because their acidity can cause heartburn, raise the risk of gastric ulcers and also gastritis.
2.Spicy Foods
Frankly speaking spicy foods are beneficial for health but if consumed in the morning they can cause heartburn and also irritate the digestive system.
3.Bananas
If bananas are consumed on an empty stomach they can boost magnesium levels in your blood hence leading to heart issues.
I recommend you to take them along with nuts, Blueberries or honey.
4.Carbonated Beverages
They are high in sugar and will slow down the metabolism and lead to bloating. Hence they are not recommend to be consumed In the morning.
